Speed Racer had nothing on the Invincible Iron Man. With a draw of just over $50 million, Iron Man topped the box office for the second straight week. This has to be encouraging news for Marvel and it’s great news to me because it means Marvel will see these more adult oriented super hero movies as a huge draw, meaning they’ll make more of them.
We’ll see how it does next week against the new Narnia movie. I see it coming in a solid second place, then falling to third the following week when the new Indiana Jones movie comes out.
