Tony Stark funds an Egyptian excavation that goes awry when the mummy that’s unearthed is actually still alive. The Mad Pharoah forces Stark to go back in time with him (or he won’t cure a disease he placed on all of the excavation workers) in order to wreak havoc on ancient Egypt. They go back in time but Stark escapes and wreaks a little havoc of his own as Iron Man.
For his services, Stark earns the favor of Cleopatra herself and he finishes things up by turning his armor into a rocket powered jet engine. The Mad Pharoah impales himself on a sword while trying to flee the scene and Iron Man captures the time travel charm and returns home. Althought not before Cleopatra invites Iron Man to share his throne with hime. Things end with the leader of the excavation seeing a heiroglyphic or Iron Man at the dig site.
